What is the IGCA?

The IGCA is an independent non-profit organization committed to the continuous improvement of the garden centre industry worldwide. It is committed to supporting national garden centre associations worldwide and their members by providing a forum to exchange ideas and learning, networking, and helping garden centres improve their businesses. What is the IGCA Congress?

An annual congress is held for one week between August and October. Each year this event is hosted in a different country. The congress comprises a business meeting, which elects officials and administers the affairs of the Association, a concentrated business tour of garden centres and an excellent social programme.

Interactive Tour

The purpose of the interactive tour is to ensure that congress is used as a learning opportunity. The interactive tour expands on the popular study tour of the past – but all ages can participate.

  • Delegates are eager to participate in discussions
  • Information is sent prior to congress to assist delegates to prepare for discussion topics
  • Discussions will be in English
